             I built this desk from a scrap piece of wood using a jigsaw
to cut its shape, used a two part resin
to cover the surface and added the aluminum edging.
It's attached with a piano hinge, so it can be folded down for extra room.

 I made this as a solution to being sentimental and functional
at the same time. These are postcards I have received from friends
 and family as well as ones I've sent to myself from the road
to record my journey.
