            In 2007 I was invited by Airstream Inc. to a private reception
at the New York Museum of Modern Art.
 The museum was celebrating and welcoming a
  1963 Airstream Bambi into its permanent collection.
    It was on that marvelous night that I made a vow to myself that if I
     came across an affordable '63 Bambi, it would be a worthwhile investment.
     The following spring I came upon one on Craig's List for a fair price.
It was love at first sight.
My Bambi is a '62 - even more vintage!
